FOR 50” MILL ROLL WITH MIYASCALE ELECTRONIC
CONTROL SYSTEM.
Miyakoshi unwind stand for a 50” diameter mill roll. |
Miyakoshi 3” unwind shaft. Lock up is mechanical by air
ratchet. |

control system featuring transducer control. |
This system automatically monitors and controls the length
and stretch of the printed web to an operator selected setting. All
adjustments are made from the operator control station. |
Reinsertion system from Miyakoshi is included. |
OFFSET
PRINTING SECTION |
The side frames for the press are 45 mm (1.75”) thick and
surface ground for accuracy. |
Three (3) Rislan covered vibrator rollers. |
The vibrators are a rocker arm assembly drive from a rotary
input which eliminates the need for individual gear box drive for each
vibrator. This eliminates the possibility of gear streaking and dot slur
due to surface speed variation if a vibrator gear box wears or is damaged
due to a paper wrap-up. |
The vibrator stroke is fully adjustable from 0” to 1 1\2”. |
Two (2) dedicated ink form rollers and one (1) ink/water
form roller in the dampener unit. |
MIYAFLOW 3 roll continuous dampening system consists of a
rubber pan roller, a chromed metering roller and the water/ink form roll. |
All ink rollers will be covered with UV compatible
material. |
The inker can be silenced by simple pull pin on each offset
tower. |
Motorized plate cylinder lateral registration is controlled
by push button at each offset tower or at the main operator console.
360° circumferential register control is accomplished by
harmonic drives on each tower activated by push buttons on each tower or
the main operator console. |
The outside form roller on each offset tower is also
equipped with a rider anti-ghost roller. |
This press will be equipped with spacer cabinets between
each offset tower and after the last offset tower to facilitate the
installation of a U. V. drying system. |
Letterpress printing and numbering can also be accomplished
in a tower by the installation of the proper cassette. |
MULTIPLE
FUNCTION PROCESS SECTION |
This press is to be equipped with a complete, multiple
purpose, process section. There will be a linear compensator on the
infeed side controlled by push button from the operator control station. |
The unit will then be equipped with a pull roll combination
tension system to maintain proper web tension between the unwind and
throughout the offset towers. |
This is a dual pull roll, variable drive pull station. The
unit is servo driven and is adjusted from the Miyascale 800 system. This
means that the infeed station and the final pull station after the offsets
can all be balanced for different web substrate from the operator console.
One position for file hole and specialty cassettes. This
unit will also accommodate a cassette style, die cut unit for pattern
perforation from magnetic cylinders. |
Two positions for vertical perforations or slitters. Each
position has its own hardened anvil cylinder and holder shaft.
Two exhaust blowers are provided. One for chad removal for
the file hole and marginal punch position and one for trim removal from
the slitter section. |
Two cross perforation positions
equipped with dedicated hardened anvil
cylinders with eccentric on\off. |
One position for marginal punching. The unit will be
configured for single-double-single. This unit has a manual side adjust. |
Miyakoshi press singles folder. This folder is equipped
with external spirals in a dual stream configuration. |
The folder is fully variable with a fold length range of 7”
to 22”. Rated run speed of 1,000 feet per minute. Remote Circumferential
timing of the chute and spirals is standard. The unit is equipped with
an automatic descending table, reset quantity counter, pack counter and a
spray marker for pack ending. |
POPULAR OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT |
A de-curl bar operated off of the main operator console by
push-button. |
Web guide with remote control to console. This unit uses
servo actuated offset pivot steering guide. This unit is also equipped
with 2 edge sensors. |
A severing device can be supplied for the
infeed section as an option. |
DDS-100 digital detection for mill roll ending and
programmed press shut down. |
A 50" rewinder complete with tension control. |
Miyakoshi commercial sheeter with a rated run speed of
1,000 feet per minute. This sheeter will be equipped with a linear
compensator before the infeed section. |
All sheet sizes are with a change gear configuration.
Half sizes of these are accomplished by inserting a second blade into the
cutter head. |
The sheeter will be set for single and dual stream
application. A Hi-Pile receding stacker with an automated non-stop
changeover when stacker has reached a pre-determined height. |
Each print tower can be equipped with all vibrator rollers
plumbed to accept a chilled water supply as an option. |
This unit comes with all rotary unions, valves and plumbing
in place with a simple in\out connection on the gear side of the press. |
A chiller and zone control for accurate control of vibrator
temperatures can be included in the pricing as an option. |
The process section entry roll can be chilled to return the
web to proper temperature before entering the die cutting station as an
option. |
Vertical air assist turn bars mounted on the press at
customer designated locations. |
